The Balconera Stone is a balcony planter designed to bring a natural look to outdoor spaces while keeping plants hydrated through an integrated irrigation system. It features a natural-stone-like surface and a water reservoir with a level indicator, ensuring plants receive the right amount of water throughout the year. The planter insert has recessed grips, making it easy to plant on a table or floor while the outer box stays mounted on a railing or wall. In the 50 cm size, it includes one plant insert; in the 80 cm size, there are two inserts that can be planted separately. A built-in drain screw helps prevent waterlogging by allowing excess rainwater to drain away when used outdoors; for indoor use, the screw can be removed and re-tightened. For optimal growing conditions, it is recommended to use specific substrates: Veggiepon for fruits and vegetables, Terrapon for shrubs or flowers, and Lechuza-Pon as a drainage layer (included). Optional balcony brackets are available separately to mount Balconera on rails or walls. The Balconera Stone is available in several colors (steingrau, sandbeige, graphite black, quartz white) and in both 50 cm and 80 cm sizes. All Lechuza planters are manufactured in Germany under high production standards, with durable, impact-resistant, and weather-resistant plastic. Deliverables include the planter with irrigation system and Lechuza-Pon drainage layer, plus the plant insert with recessed grips and an included substrate.
